It's all genuine, you'll see it on the weekend. Anyway all of the tyres will need to be replaced this year because they are perishing, and there is still over 4mm of tread left.

Just so you know, I'm making a salmon quiche and there will be prawn vol-au-vent. I also have a voucher for fresh fish; so if you bring food, I think we're good for fish already <!--emo&

I've also already bought sausage rolls and I'm making Cornish Samosa with lamb. There should be some Chicken Tikka too provided I can pick some up on Friday when I fetch the bread and the beer; and hopefully that Stilton Tesco promised me.

There will also be cake, which I guess I need to make on Thursday. Holy Crap I've only got a couple of days left <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />

Progress so far:

House a mess but just about survivable. Lots of things I'd love to finish but they're not all gonna happen...

Most of shopping done except beer, bread and meat. Hang on, I guess that's actually the important bit!

DDR tested and working.

Quake tested and working.

Media Centre tested and working in a temporary case I had. Decided to wait until I had more time to do a nice job rather than botch the DIY.

What do people drink by preference? I'll probably just get a couple of crates of those little bottles of lager and some red wine. Hopefully they'll actually have some coke next time - any preference on diet or full-fat? I've got Kick and some decent Orange and Lemon fizzy and different kinds of fruit juice too.

Arggg I'm kinda nervous! I thought it was Wednesday for a while today, which meant I only had 1 day to do all the cooking!

My pastry is pretty good, and Cirrus is pretty good at it too. In fact he might be making it if I don't get my act together!

I confess I bought some flaky pastry for the vol-au-vonts though. I wanted to buy ready made cases but I can't find them anywhere!

Tell you what; I'll skip the salmon quiche and do Fish Pie with a flaky pastry crust instead, or maybe just salmon vol-au-vonts. I have to do salmon something because I've got the smoked salmon off-cuts already.
