Hey all,

Have started a new topic for this so it's easier to keep track of.

We're approaching that time of year and I just wanted to check that we're on for the event again. I don't know where anyone is, but the weekend closest is the 6th/7th so I wasn't sure if we should start planning now?

Jez, Matt, Lampy, Rupe, Graham, Naveed .... Any other takers for a piss-up in Oxford?

I guess starting to plan it now would be a good idea! I'll try to get on to it this week.

It seems that we have, if not a plan exactly, then a least something afoot for a meet up in Oxford on the 6th. Would you be looking to do the same as last year, i.e. just come for the day?

We're not exactly sure yet, we're hatching a plan to stay overnight but it depends on the neighbours. They owe us one for their firework and bonfire party from tonight so I'll ask them in the week

The current state of the plan is:

Meet up at the White Rabbit at 3pm. Have a meal, maybe Italian, maybe Thai, in the early evening.

That sounds like a stonking plan

Still not sure about staying the night, we'll sort it out this weekend and decide though.

Ok, the plan still sounds ace. We'll be doing the same as last year though, parking at the park-n-ride and taking the bus into town for the event, we're not going to be able to stay over and it worked well last year so we'll do that again. The 14:37 gets us to George St at about 14:45 and the last bus leaves Magdalen Street at 23:30 so we'll be fine if we start at 3pm.

What are your plans KW? Are you going to drive in or take the train? I looked at the train times but it's such a pain from here and easy enough to drive the hour and a half to the park and ride.

Looking forward to it, do we know who's attending?

I'm hoping that Graham will give me a lift from Milton Keynes like last year, if not, I'll be on the train. I'm sleeping over at Naveed's in any case!

People who have said they'll attend: Naveed, Graham, Matt, Blister and us lot. I'm not sure if Lampshade and Rupert will be there or not.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm sorry you were upset We did some good remembering and chewed over some good memories which is what it was all about. It really hasn't been that long so I'm glad you had a good time until right near the end, I know we all still miss him very much and the testament to that is the group we were out with and everyone taking part, I hope it'll get easier as time goes on, but we'll never forget. *Hugs*
