why do pc take so long to get just the way you want them. i've been at this an hour now and i noly just got some updates going. bloody microsoft, stupid validation damn world.
didn't think this would take long either!

I hate having to reboot always to complete installations or finish updates.

it's taken two days to get it almost there. that dosn't include my windows blinds that i haven't done yet. windows defult sucks

I would suggest using "Paragon Exact Image"
but I can't get it to work properly <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
A bit like Paragon Partition Destroyer... or whatever it was that trashed my disk a while ago...

OK I didn't buy it... it was on the PC Pro coverdisk, but it wasted days of my life which I value at millions of pounds
Sh1sm or Minimopedo or someone use Acronis (sp?) I think... maybe give that a try? There should be a free version somewhere...
The idea is you just back up your "Perfect" windows config, then you can restore it in 5 minutes no hassle <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
