What I've heard about most LAN parties is that it's 10% gaming and 90% pron sharing.

If I was really serious about playing games then a WAN could be done at anytime. But a little shoot up here and there will be fun amongst all the other things you have lined up.

OK Formal Schedule:

11am Saturday - I get out of bed <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

arrive any time after that - seriously; I don't do Saturday mornings in any kind of way you'd want to witness! With the traffic it could be quite a drive; M1 is gonna be very busy from 13 - 16 but there isn't a better way up. Don't even think about the A5 or A43 because they'll be closed - they turn into a park and ride! Come in on the A45 from M1 J16, that's gotta be the fastest way I'd think.

1pm lunch.

I might do Japanese or Chinese but it'll probably be Indian style - Poppadoms, onion bhaji, Chicken Tikka, salad and that kinda stuff. There's no time limit on this - it'll be snack food so just eat what you want.

8pm dinner

KW should arrive by now, so that's when the curry & rice type stuff comes out.

Sunday:

Breakfast - fry up will be available.

Lunch - Probably just a burger and any left-over snacks and stuff.

There's no hurry or schedule for anything really; I just need to be fit for work by the Monday!

Like I've said there's Quake which Adam & Paul can join in on if the inter-web thing works without too much lag; and they can shout at us through MSN too - I'll stick the cam on the big screen lol.

The DDR & Parapara are quite a laugh, especially after a few drinks...

The now rather retro Game-cube has 4 controllers; but I've only ever played Mario once and I was pissed at the time. If Lady K comes then she can show us how it goes.

If anyone wants to bring anything, computer games or real toys then that's cool. I'm gonna rummage around and see what I can find. I'm pretty sure I know where my match-box cars are, so we can play Need for Speed - the Solid Metal version <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

Going by the weather; I think the tent and other out-door stuff are canceled.

The main thing is to eat, drink and be merry!

Only if I'm feeling rich or very disorganised! I'm thinking of lunch as a really really long starter for dinner <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

I'm a pretty good cook. Gonna go shopping on Friday and spend all day cooking stuff up for the fridge. On Saturday I should mostly be able to heat things up in the oven so I won't be stuck in the kitchen the way I usually am at my own parties. I'll cook the main meal from fresh but it isn't that complicated - it's all the little bits that take a lot of time.

Also if I go shopping on Friday, the bread will be fresh and I wont have time to drink all the whisky before Saturday night <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

There will be one fairly mild vegi dish made with Courgette. How big it is depends on the weather. At the moment it is only 2" long but it's still growing! The meat dish will be either lamb or pork. Anyone got a problem with a seriously spicy thing? I really can't be bovered doing lots of different dishes so it'll probably be a jar of Madras sauce from Tesco for speed & reliability!

Are you sure she's not on work experience? She may only be 14 or 15... I thought one of the girls at work was about that age but she got married last year.
