I recently said... whatever you put in Google, you get Porn...

Well... I was looking for a Pic of Lauren Hill (don't ask!) and guess what the Very First hit is!

[cert 18]

Google Search!

[/ cert 18]

Actually... Lauren Michelle Naked Boobie Hills looks quite nice, but she wasn't what I was looking for!

Hmm... Missy Eliot is next on the list... Oh boy, here we go again!

i did that when i was younger. except i did it on a playground, rather than a bowl of cereal.

I had the thing capped about 7 times (this was back when you could actually get NHS treatment for this sort of thing) but they kept breaking off. i decided not to bother in the end. bloody painful though, 'cos it exposed the nerves underneath :o

he he, I picked up a copy of 'Retro Cars' today, 'cos it had a feature on Triumph TR7s in it, and the some of the stuff came from a site that i go to - i also know the guy that runs it.

trouble is, they put in the wrong web address for his site - his is www.triumphtr7.com, the one they put in the mag was www.tr7.com.

take a look at tr7.com, and please, tell me what it has to do with TR7s - or cars at all for that matter! :P

warning - it's a naughty site. NAUGHTY NAUGHTY! :o

I liked the TR7 (car) site, particularly this:

Top slogan! (no wonder they never made any money...)

lol - I like it; it's a "parking" site i.e. there isn't a tr7.com website but someone owns it.

No website, so what do they say?

"There isn't a tr7.com, but here is some porn for you - that must be what you wanted!"

My computer broke today!

(don't worry, it was my work computer - if it was my home computer, it'd be more like 'My F*&%$ng computer b$%(%^d died today!!!!!111!!!1!!   ')

I came back into the office after a sneaky fag break ("Just got to drop this paperwork down to reception" ) to find my computer making an ominous whiirr...click sort of noise.

ME: 'Hey, how long's my computer been doing that?'

BOSS: 'Oh, don't worry, it does that occasionally. It's been doing that for about a month now.'

ME:  'Uhmm, I'm just going to back up some files now...'

So I tried to back up some files (thankfully all the important ones are on a network drive!), but the screen immediately froze. I rebooted, and just got 'Press F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup

Half an hour of trying later, I gave up and called IT support.

So now my computer has to be sent off to head office to be repaired, and I've been lumped with the office spare - a PII/350 system running Windows 95. It can't even run half the programs I need, so I now have to go to another office downstairs to do most of my work I expect the repair to take at least a week.

What bugs me though, is that if head office sent me out a new HDD, I could have the thing back up and running by tomorrow lunchtime. But they wouldn't let me do that....

That's just what I was gonna say...

Sending it away to head office?!

How many people in your office? Is the network all so locked down you can't do Jack rayburn without Domain Admin rights or something...?

I work for RSPB sometimes; I've finally met the IT guy I always talk to on the phone! They have hundreds of offices, and I can never fix the software because the IT department is in Sandy (near Bedford) and they just never give me admin rights!

I should point out... they're paying like ?160 an hour for me to sit there for 4 hours waiting for IT, when the job should only take 10 minutes if they'd just trust me with the password!

Ah well... can you play the "I can't do that work on this computer, you'll have to give it to someone else..." trick?

Hardly, I know all the access passwords for the entire network - the security here is laughable!

for example (and without giving too much away) the admin password is just 3 letters long! And not only that, but it hasn't been changed since the system was installed (roughly 6 years ago).

But that doesn't help me much without a new HDD though

It did occur to me, however, that the sales office was closed when I left work tonight - I know the code for the door lock. It would have taken a matter of minutes to swap my HDD around with some suckers' in sales!

problem is, it didn't occur to me until I was in the car on the way home - and I couldn't be arsed to turn around and go back again.
