I love the Isle of Wight! That was my first ever 'overseas' holiday... :rolleyes:



I'm not too keen on the ferry ride though; it gets a bit rough when the ferry comes into the port!



I don't think I'd make a very good sailor....

The slow ferry sucks but you need it if you are taking a car.

The fast passenger ferry is so quick you must remain under COVER at all times.

It is known as the Isle of Shite to everyone on the Hampshire coast.

The inhabitants are known as Corkheads.

On a quiet night at Lepe beach (on the mainland but the closest point to the island) you can hear banjos.

Or you could get a whole load of DOVES strapped to your body and get them to fly you there. Doves have a good sense of direction, so as long as you get the power to weight ratios right, it should work fine!
