Official Survivor

Congratulations! You scored 70%!

Whether through ferocity or quickness, you made it out. You made the right choice most of the time, but you probably screwed up somewhere. Nobody's perfect, at least you're alive.

Hmm... I wonder where I f*cked up?!

I think selecting 'all of the above' is probably a bit of a no-no - if you keep taking everything, you'd end up bogged down with crap, and would be too heavy to move quickly.....

In the repeated scenario with peeps on the rooftop, but direct action would have lost a team member, I would have done this if there was the choice:

Throw weapons, let them fight their own way out, any survivors can come along.

Then one of you lot will go, 'well taking extra people slows down the group as a whole', and I'll say eat brains, zombie lover.

There are plenty more fish in the sea, get your tackle out and see what bites.

I said throw them weapons and wish them luck...

I gotta pick-up truck. Nice sturdy cab, 4 wheel drive, and loads of space in back for anything I can loot! Gimme Guns, Ammo, Lights and D cells, flares, Tins of Spam spam spam, flour, water, sterilising pills and any other crap I can grab before they come for me!!!

And a pillow to hide under...

A civilisation is supposedly only a few meals from anarchy. In the event of an apocalyptic event, would the population loot because it was instinct, or because Hollywood told them to?

Remember go for the brain.

Remember the fuel protest in 2000. The supermarkets were sold out of toilet paper ffs.

Would a zombie really care about wiping it's arse?

Lets face it, the country goes nuts at the first sign of a problem - the whole place would go crazy if there was ever a real major disaster!

I could quite easily imagine people killing each other over bottles of water etc....

God only knows how everyone coped during the war... I guess people were made of sterner stuff back then.

I just saw a trailer for 'The hills have eyes'.

Not a zombie film per se, but looks pretty good anyway!

Oh, and I just ordered the directors cut of The Exorcist from amazon, so scary film ahoy in a day or so!

They either don't make them like they used to, or I've become desensitised (?) from watching too many horror flicks as a child.

Yeah, I know what you mean, they just don't seem to have the shock factor these days.

Oh look, it's another dumb cheerleader being hacked apart with a chainsaw. Ho hum.

That's why I like the oldies, they couldn't do the special effects back then, so had to rely on atmosphere and suspense. Psychological stuff.

I remember seeing The Exorcist on a midnight showing at the cinema once (this was back when it was still banned from video, so you could only see it at the cinema - this was before the internet! ), and me and a mate walking back to the car after seeing that at about 2AM, walking through dark deserted streets. We were crapping ourselves!

You just don't get that anymore.

I always had trouble sleeping as a child (~10+ years), so I'd find myself watching TV by myself at 2 in the morning. I'd be like, 'what's this film about to start, Ama, Ami, Amity, ahh Amityville'.

They all scared the bejesus out of me but I always found myself wanting more. By 12 years I had my mum well trained in what she had to get me from the video shop.
