I like anything with Vampires in, so it's definitely on my "to see" list <!--emo&:[--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/4013/140/emo/bat.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='bat.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Not sure what we're going to do about whose next go though <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I'm going to try not to cheat here, but pick up on the hints above ('80s classic vampire film? That narrows it down considerably!) and go for:
kill your brother (sister? <!--emo&:huh:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/huh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='huh.gif' /><!--endemo--> ), it'll make you feel better
From The Lost Boys, no idea who said it, but I'm guessing one of the vampires.

Is that good enough? <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

OK, new tactic test:

If you strike me to strike down, I will become possibly possible to imagine powerfully compared to you.

quote mangling courtesy of babelfish English to Chinese (and back again) translator. <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I like the translation idea. They used to do that with song titles on the wireless <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

OK, here's another one via the Chinese:

Rules their ring to be complete. Discovers their ring. Brings their ring completely and in dark difficult position.

I found a site earlier that translates through all sorts of languages and back again, this is what that above quote comes out as:

The victories of Darth are the impossible ones. If they reduce to me, the I, is possibly blow transformed of nse with the energy, that is more level, since they probably anticipate it.

Whoo-Hoo Another film I can almost quote verbatim:

One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them

Said by various people, most notably (and memorably IMNSHO) Gandalf

Right, my turn: (using the babelfish technique)

Discussed tree. Anything makes the tree to discuss, hmm?Except squirrel excrement consistency

Is that from a film?

I cheated again using Google, but I've only found a reference to an author I don't know <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Right. I'm assuming you're all stumped so I'll enlighten you and then do an easier one:

Legolas: They have feelings, my friend. The elves began it, waking up the trees, teaching them to speak.

Gimli: Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

There you go <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Right, here's another one: (although translated through Japanese this time)

I think that I spoke so that I do the one that a/the husband (chief), takes to you and wished me.&nbsp; I want to dance now, and want to win.&nbsp; I want goodness with the dance trophy it&nbsp;

Good Luck <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Evidence, if ever any was required, that you should spend more time on your bum in front of DVDs <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Seriously, you haven't seen the Monty Pythons? Lord of the Rings Trilogy?

I hadn't seen Lord of the Flies but hopefully we'll get to some more mainstream, popular movies now.

What's your genre?

I have seen all the Monty Pythons (was annoyed I didn't work that one out).

Watched part of LOTR, got bored and went and talked to some other people that found it boring.

Per se I don't have a 'genre' that I go for. I'll watch pretty much anything except Rom Com and disaster movies, both of which suck beyond comprehension.

I guess it is mostly stemming from the fact that my parents have never had a TV, and so there were many things that I have simply never had the time.

Having said that, a film has to be pretty good to keep my attention, I much prefer something that requires interaction (computer games and playing Magic for example).

Ah, right. I'd totally not recalled that.

My Googling came up with some rather Zen and completely unrelated stuff though. Have a read of this if you're bored:

Pulp Fiction. Possibly my all-time favourite film.
