I've been searching for hubcaps recently - never occured to me to try and sell a knackered one!

I'm watching that now <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Despite the looks, this is indeed worthless cack - it's a blatant scam. <!--emo&:rolleyes:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I've just emailed him to ask if he can ship it overseas, and would he accept Western Union for payment? <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Apart from the Zero feedback I can't see anything wrong..? Looks like a tidy and desirable car. Would have thought it was worth a lot more than that mind you, but I'm not a car person as you might have noticed <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

And there's the problem: It's worth a lot more than that!

A TR6, even in rough condition, is worth probably twice that - one in that condition would be worth 10-12k, minimum.

This is a good description of the scam:

Of course, you'd have to be an utter moron to hand over that sort of money for a car you've never even seen, but the fact that these scammers keep doing the rounds is proof that morons like this exist. <!--emo&:rolleyes:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo-->

He still hasn't replied to my email. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

However, he has replied to someone else I know that emailed him:

Hello,

I am selling this vehicle for ?1900 including delivery anywhere in UK. I think this is a low price but i need cash for a family emergency. I have to tell you that I'm currently out of town with some major problems so pick up/view isn't an option. If you want to buy this vehicle email me back with your full name and address to start the official procedure trough eBay. They will send you a notification with ALL the info regarding delivery, purchase protection and refund policy so please provide your details before more questions. You will find 90% of answers in that notification from eBay!

Thank you!

Told you so. <!--emo&:rolleyes:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Nicely described, this one.

He tells you what engine is in it, gives details on the exhaust, brakes, wheels, even the colour of the dials. What more could you possibly need to know?

Oh yeah. How about the fact that IT'S BEEN ROLLED!!?!?!!

A small detail I know, but you'd think he'd have noticed. <!--emo&:rolleyes:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Car has come from a pet free and smoke free home...

Well it's good to know that when you're picking bits of the shattered rear window out of the seats, you won't get covered in dog hair. <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Apparently he has ten of them. <!--emo&:o--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo-->
