OK... I'm nearly asleep, but I thought I'd investigate some strangeness in my ICMP redirect tables. I don't like ICMPs - they make me worry. Why is someone redirecting my internet?!

Anyway... I tracked down the ISP (err - looked it up, "whois") of 2 entries. One of them was an ISP in Japan, and the other in Thailand. I guess I shouldn't be suprised - I was connected to the Asian dark net so that explains it really!

One thing though... have a look at the funny writing they use in Thailand!

Also, the redirected address actually belonged to FedEx, the American parcel people! I guess not everyone in Thailand uses Kosha IP addresses

Thats just what I thought!

I thought it would be more like Korean or Chinese, but I guess not!

The stuff they were downloading from me wasn't suitable for a nice Muslim to watch

wahey, I'm here! and on broadband!

I'm just having a look on my sisters' PC, she asked me to try and sort it out 'cos it was running slow.

so far, i've found 489 spyware objects and 5 virus-infected files

the search continues....

not much longer though, i'm bloody knackered!

i've had a long couple of months!

it's only now that i'm relaxing for a couple of days that it's all starting to catch up with me <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /> after the last couple of months of 14-hour days and such, i'm feeling pretty worn out.

plus the fact that i've just been down the pub, and i'm a little bit drunk <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='cool.gif' />

(not really supposed to be drinking, but i just fighured, WTF? a couple of pints won't hurt.9

anyway, i'm off to bed now, before i fall asleep on the chairt
