Hmm... I don't do steak myself. I was never too keen on it - especially when it's still oozing blood like some people say is the best way! I'm not a Dog, I like my meat to sit still on the plate!

I gave up beef a bit after the BSE scare, and so did my parents - although Mum's doing a Beef-Wellington for a party soon, so I guess they didn't give it up totally.

I can't eat cows now though... just think of those big brown eyes! And all the milk, cream, yoghurt and cheese they give us when they're alive! I'm not sure I'd consider them "Holy" exactly... I'm not a real Hindu or anything, but I really couldn't eat one ever again <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Last time I ate meat was at my mums - I visited them in France for a week and ate meat every day. I don't mind eating Chickens really... they've got such small brains they don't even notice when you cut their heads off! I feel slightly more guilty about Pork; I think pigs are kinda cute - but they don't have that real lazy knowing look in their eyes like a cow!

I often wonder - why do we eat cows but not horses? Rabbits but not Hamsters?

I'd eat a horse if I was seriously hungry, like starving in the American west... but if I was that badly off then horse would probably be half dead too!

I ate beef for 30 years though... so I hope you enjoy your steak... protein is good for you <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Steak is nice, but overrated IMO.....

I just got back from a restaurant where I had lamb something-or-other, it was flippin' lovely!

It was one of those cuts that just fall apart as soon as you look at it...mmmm.....and tasty too!

If I ever went veggie, I could probably do it, but the lamb would have to stay!

Shame really, because they're so cute......

lol - yeah, I get the lamb thing! I used to stay in a hotel in Welling Garden - there was a pub over the road did a 1/2 lamb shoulder with chips for about ?3.50 - I used to eat there and almost never in the hotel!

Man that was good lamb... usually... it did vary a bit, but when it was good it was bloody A class!

Chips were nice too... urghhh... I didn't eat anything since the super-noodles last night - chips sound seriously good - Damn I normally eat a realy healthy diet!

OK - the point - I cooked Lamb for me & a friend one time, and I told my ex about it - well, I told her everything about everything pretty much... and she said - including smilies:

"You ate kawaii baby little lamb :angry: <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> :unsure: "

Kawaii is Japanese for Cute btw... and that is exactly what she said <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I don't think I've eaten a kawaii little lamb since ... although I would if someone gave it to me! Stupid things <!--emo&B)--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='cool.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I woke up to warm flat coke too - I'd actually given up drinking the stuff, but this unopened bottle was in the cupboard and looked better than anything else I had! It went flat even though it hadn't been opened

I never normally eat anything significant until I get home from work - I've been that way for years.
