Hallowe'en (This is Mrs Red posting as Mr Red btw)

Righty Ho, we've just been running through the calendar and things are starting to get a bit busy so we wanted to update you all on our thoughts about the forthcoming weeks.

We're free for the Halloween weekend, and we thought it would be nice if you wanted to come here on the Saturday during the day and go to the Shakespeare County Raceway with us for the "Halloween Havoc" event. It's a drag strip and they usually have some great cars out on public track days. More info can be found here: <a href='http://www.shakespearecountyraceway.com ... p?event=64' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Halloween Bonfire Burn-Up</a> we thought it's probably KW's kind of thing, but if Zabz and JJ want to make a carfull we could all go for the day.

Afterwards, we can all pile back to JJs house for the usual festicles, it's really nice that we're close enough to each other to do this kind of thing. We can make our usual night of it, I'll provide the MEAD and then we can recover at our leisure on Sunday.

After Halloween things get a bit sticky, for Cyril visits we're home for the weekend of the 6th/7th of November, the following weekend we're going to the Wales Rally on the Friday, staying over until the Saturday to attend the rally, then coming home in time for my Mother and youngest nephews birthday parties which are on the 14th.

The next weekend we have tickets to Erotica in London (Dita Von Teese is the "Headline Honey" <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/4013/140/emo/aha.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='aha.gif' /> ) so we'll be going to Londinium for the day although we have nothing planned for Sunday so there's a possibility we'll be home at a reasonable enough time to have visitors as long as you don't expect gourmet and witty repartee.

The weekend of the 27th November we're totally free so if anyone wants to snap us up for that weekend let us know so we can put you on the calendar.

For Halloween, I will be joining a little later, one of my closest friends will be passing through Londinium on Sat 30th and I really want to catch up with her. She is planning on heading off around noon so I can get the train anywhere then. If we are all at JJ's I would really really appreciate a lift from MC or Northampton train station to JJ's, there is Rum or Wine or Beer or Tahini or a combination of these in it for whoever obliges. If we go to Strat I can meet youz in town...

As usual, anyone arriving before 4pm will be expected to help prepare. Before 2pm, you may have to wake actually me up - and no, the door bell isn't fixed! After 8pm you may miss some of the food and certainly some some of the booze!

Just a reminder. Earlier in the day I think I'll be busy preparing and Zabz has friends plans, so I don't think we're going to make the track day.

Zabz, someone will definitely pick you up if you can make it to N'pton at a sober time. Text me with an ETA at least 10 minutes before you need us there.

Cut the lid off, scoop out the seeds and either wash and toast them for a snack, or chuck them away. Use a sharp spoon to scoop out the flesh for a pumpkin pie, leaving about 1/2 an inch all around, make the inside of the bottom flat for a tealight and then carve a scary face in the front.
