Hurrah!! We're bringing the drinks cabinet and some of the nibbles we didn't eat at our house last time. Birthday



I'm getting this in early, I realise that my birthday isn't for a while (*sigh* just another one of the "good things" I have to wait for that are ruining my life!!) but I wanted to make sure everyone has the date in their diary/device of choice....



Sunday 7th August



We're having a BBQ at our (new) place, there will be beer and other drinks of lots of varieties, there will be fire, food cooked to perfection over it, possibly a hungi and various members of family, friends, hopefully some sun, animals and a ton of etc.



Not sure how many beds we'll have by then but you're welcome to stay over the Saturday night and make a party of that too. New Dog welcome as well <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Silli Moot Summary



Since we seem to have more upcoming events than you could shake a stick at, I thought I'd summarise them here in this handy summary:



June 4th: Reds Birthday - Saturday evening usual drink and food-fest, Sunday buffet breakfast with family, tea and cake in the afternoon, possibly de-camping to the garden if the weather is nice enough.



June 25th: Midsummer / Solstice / Litha - Saturday evening drink and food-fest, hopefully fire jumping in the paddock, sleep as late as you like Sunday, brunch will be served for them as wants it.



July 22nd-24th: Silverstone Classic - Red and I will be camping the Saturday night and attending both days (tickets already bought) any chance we could sleep over at yours on the Friday night JJ?



August 6th: Mrs Reds Birthday - Saturday evening with Grandma, games, drinks, chat, not a late night. Sunday BBQ and Hungi in the paddock, joined by more friends and family for the celebration, possibly some gardening but mostly drinking, eating and socialising.



So, diarize that if you fancy any or all of it

Any time you like really, I've told Jim between 4pm and 5pm, but really any time you like is fine with us.



JJ you might need to bring you bed so we can separate you from KW for sleeping arrangements in the dining room. Jim doesn't have a mobile bed so I'm thinking of putting Jim in the living room, JJ in the dining room and KW upstairs in the spare bedroom, we can see how it works out on the night, but that's my plan <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->



I think I'm doing a massive roast meat-fest, pork belly to see if I can get great sheets of crackling again, a roast chicken with chicken salt, yorkshires, roast and mashed pots, some sort of vegetable or other and gravy. I'm also thinking of doing dinner for about 8pm so if you want to bring quiche and snacky stuff to keep everyone going until then, be my guest <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> We'll have twiglets of course!! <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->



With any luck it'll then be time to head out to the paddock and start a fire to sit and drink around, jump later and cook s'mores over <!--emo&:aha:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/4013/140/emo/aha.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='aha.gif' /><!--endemo--> Wish for good weather everyone!!
