Oracle XE
Okay... if you really have no life (much like me) and don't have the grunt to run real full blown oracle (or you're someone who is honest and doesn't like the idea of running oracle without license or someone who is planning on running a site or commercial system on it) Then try Oracle XE
It is actually pretty hot stuff, and it has impressed me suitably (now of course I'm used to the oracle interface) however the database website manager front end is pretty handy and provides easy interface to uploading csv/xls documents into the system.
Also it has a pretty good query builder (ooo outer join goodness)
anyway http://www.oracle.com
And in the same area we have
http://fabforce.net/dbdesigner4/
Only played a bit with it - but hot darn it's good stuff for free (and gnu)
That is all for this public service announcement.

Oracle XE
Confirmed - beats any previous Oracle install by light years. Runs brill on Linux too.
