They tell us how to behave, or react. They tell us to run and hide, or to embrace with loving arms.



This is a thread to discuss emotion, in depth and perhaps even get help if a particular emotion is clouding you.

The way I see it, there are three emotions.



Fear is what keeps us safe from harm, we run from danger.



Love is what inspires us to pro-create, and forges friendships with people who will help protect us from harm.



Anger is a protecting emotion, when we are hurt, we get angry.



All other feelings are man made and situational rather than chemical.

My favourite emotion is "Contentment".



My Nirvana:



My home is warm and secure.

My belly is comfortably full.

My loved one is safe in my arms, and the children are playing nearby.





No other emotion is needed when everything is perfect.
