toady was not good. (neithers my spelling),



i been working on an at convert to atx. and it was going well until today i find it stopped working. the netowrk was pis*ing me off 1st then the psu started shorting on the case so now it dosen't work. i put alot offort into this case too and now it don't work (i'll prob post a pic later) it really sucks. but it dose mean i get to nick a case from college to mod. have to be carful not to get spotted <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> ninja style

Yeah - I replied to your post on the Help forum. Interesting Mod !!!



You know you can buy a cheap case / PSU for less than ?10 ?



Mind you - the ?10 ones are really not very good... I've got a nice black desktop, but the PSU is so poor it won't even run a couple of extra hard disks!



I'm using an old mini-tower to type this on... 250Watt PSU is just enough but if I upgrade the Graphics Card to the 9500pro I have sat here doing nothing, it shuts down...



I've got a better PSU donated to me - I really need to sort things out! If I put the Good PSU in this box with the Good Graphics card, then I'll be able to play Doom 3 at something more than 640x480 !!!

you know i got an old q-tec 550watt you can have if you like, as a little thanks for all the extra stuff on the secret severs. lodsa syuff i like on there. i'll also have to upload a bit of stuff too soon. as soon as i get this dam pc working, also you say ?10 for a pc and case......i'm skint.....college free! that and i don't like the dirt cheap cases. the old college pc are the off white colour but solid build.

Thanks for the offer, but it would cost quite a bit just to post it. I've got all the bits I need, I just need to get organised. Keep it as a spare - sounds like you may need it anyway!?

That could be fixed surely. Cheapass PSU rated at, what. 500w? Should do the trick...

i can't, the psu is in the bottom two 5 1/4inch bays out of (most) it case. it started to short so i've given up. that and the things just pi&#036;&#036;ing me off now. getting a new case today though/



man college rocks. just got to get past the armed IT guys
