I've just ordered a supreme/hawaiian family size all for myself. I have another 40 mins to wait but it will provide me with all the food I need for the next 24 hours. Yummy.

I should have brought some cheap food from the supermarket earlier but tbh I just cba. lol

Pizza is awesome stuff. I may happen to know the number of our local Dominos off by heart (01392 42 52 52 for those of you wondering).

Having said that, nothing beats real pizza in Italy, simply awesome.

I've never been a great fan of pizza, especially in England. I put this down to really greasy deep pan stuff that is probably too American for me. However the pizza I have just consumed 3/4 of was thin and crispy and a fantastic overall package.

The best thing is that the left overs will taste even better for lunch tomorrow. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yesterday, I bought a frozen pizza in Tesco. It was a Goodfella's Peperoni deep pan, and could probably have served 2 people. It cost ?1.17 half price special offer, and I couldn't resist it. The same pizza delivered would probably have been 10 times that, and I doubt I could have made one for less!

It was yummy in my tummy, all 1200 Kcals <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I do like the thin crispy ones better. We used to have a van that sold them, and although I only used it once I do remember it was excellent. It was real bready bread, rather than the light sweet stuff you usually get.

We just recently gave a Chicago Town pizza a try, one we've not had before.

We had high hopes since it was described as a "Pepperoni" pile-up and paid the ?2.35 to take it home.

Mr Redeyes asnd I both enjoy a nice meaty slice so I opened the package to remove it from its plastic film with great expectations. And nearly laughed myself into a coma!

There was a handful of "pepperoni" in various sizes, "piled up" on one side of the pizza, and when I spread it out over the surface before engaging the use of the oven, it barely made a decent mouthful on each slice.

My advice? don't bother!

The hunt for the perfect pizza continues, perhaps we should just buy bases and make our own?

Or make up some focaccia dough and do the whole thing from scratch. I have to rely on the Wench for the dough (baking has never been my strong point), and the pizzas that we end up with are the sex.

Even better than Dominos <!--emo&:blink:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The GF has a breadmaker that makes pizza dough.

Best way to do it as you can have the toppings of your choice.

Current favourite, monkey nut and yak's milk cheeze.

Damn, too late for me to add "Breadmaker" to my birthday list, perhaps Xmas instead then.

Sounds ideal, and appeals to my DIY attitude <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

If you are eating out, I can highly recommend the pizza that they do at La Strada. They also do it to take away, which is nice. Properly thin and crispy

TBH, although bread makers are great for pizza, you really don't need one. Pizza dough doesn't need that much working, but if you have a food processor then it can make it effortless... except for the washing up <!--emo&<_<--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/dry.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='dry.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The recipe is on the side of the yeast <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->
