One constructive tip - tell him to resize the pictures before he uploads them onto the finished website. That picture is 3 meg file probably strait off the camera, scaled down to 1/20th the size. It takes about 30 seconds to load on my PC, but would take less than 1 second if he resized it in Gimp first.
