Tell me about it - I wish he'd get a hair cut or something, Jamie Oliver is just too scary!

Most of the pain has gone now - but it feels really weird :blink:

At least I get paid in time for the next lot of treatment. Bah - actually I suppose I can afford it, they don't pay me that badly... but this tooth is gonna cost more than my PC's worth!!!

Bugger!

I just broke that expensive tooth again... on some GRAVY!!!

I was mopping up some gravy with a bit of bread... how can you brak your tooth on a bit of soggy bread!!!???

The tempory filling is still in - but there is no tooth around it now - just a filling sticking down out of my skull :blink:

I shoulda had it pulled out <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The root of the tooth is still there - it's just hanging onto that below the gum-line.

They drilled out the nerve, so there's a hole going into my brain or something...

I'm trying to find their phone number. Hopefully I can get an emergency appointment tomorrow. Great - I new had the day off for something!

Thanks! I think I may be visiting an off-licence on the way home <!--emo&:huh:--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/huh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='huh.gif' /><!--endemo-->

As you can imagine... this is really cheesing me off! I imagine he's going to gring the whole tooth down to the gum, and then put a cap or something on it when I go back in a couple of weeks...

I wonder how much a Gold one would cost - bling bling! :o

Well, that was the best yet :D

He drilled out the old filling & put in a new one. No anaesthetic, no pain - and best of all - no charge :lol:

Bad news is... the X-rays show I need a tooth on the other side doing <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

And I'm definitely gonna need a crown <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

That's Both of my upper-front pre-molars. Stupid thing is, when I was about 10 years old they took out my bottom fpm's because of crowding. They nearly did the top ones but they weren't sure.

I really wish they had now! Not only did they both go bad, but it would have stopped my front teeth crossing over - it really is a bit crowded, I'd have been better without them all round!

Glad it went OK! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I had my premolars whipped out years ago - for the same reason as you! It didn't really work though, my teeth still overlap and look like they were put in there at random! :D
