Mr Red suggested you might know if there is a way to import data from an Excel spreadsheet into an Access database. I have some information which has been half-entered into Excel which would be much better in a proper database and I'll be entering the rest of the data into Access but I'd rather not hand-type all the stuff that's already been done if there's another way.

Any help you can offer would be mondo appreciated <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I will have a look when I get home, but I suspect there will be a Wizard of some description for doing it.

Which version of Excel / Access are you using?

Fabby, Thanks <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Excel is "2002 (10.6847.6845)" - whatever that means.

I suspect Access will be the same version although I haven't actually got hold of a copy of it yet <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
