hello people
okay this is my 1st ever animated gif. im so proud. and it didn't take too long to do. like 30min. okay it's a bit crap but it's my 1st go. what do you think

this is just after she gets hit by a car. she jumps back up and says she's total revived. so shes very genki.
i do plan to make a better on or a diffennt one...as soon as i can figure out how to make lots of screen shots in WMP.

I use VirtualDub for stuf likethat. Its free and very useful.
You can either go through frame by frame and use ctrl-1 to grab those, or you can select a bit of video and save as a series of bitmaps.

Once you've got the bitmaps, you can do what you like. One thing I'd suggest is cleaning up the snow and trimming off the bits of the picture that don't change; it will look smoother and the file will be a lot smaller.
What software you using to make the animated gif? I usually use paint shop pro to do the stills with a common pallet and then export into microsoft gif animator.

to anime i'm using gif movie gaer. coudn't figure out that gif animater you suggested. and GIMP or paint to do the pics.
