Ahoy good people,
well i normally ask this at college and get the responce of "nor really" so i though i'd ask it here. that and i want to get my post count up.
so whats evey one been up to latly. i've been to college and watching FMA>

OK here's my day!
09:00 - get up and shower
09:40 - arrive at dentist
10:45 - finish at dentsit. Ouch.
11:00 - go to work, fix some stuff (at the EX-American Airbase in Upper Heyford)
15:00 - Get home, eat some cheese.
16:00 - Fall asleep - I didn't sleep well last night for some reason!
18:30 - Wake up and think "Doh!" I missed the Simpsons...
18:31 - Cook dinner, a Tuna and Rice think with Broccolli... it was edable.
19:00 - Talk crap on the Forums for 3 hours wishing there was something fun to read!
22:00 - chat on MSN
22:20 - realise "Lost" is on & stop chatting & start watching!
23:00 - watch "Lost" on E4
24:00 - watch Point Pleasant
25:00 - This!

Work
Went on a training course Monday and Tuesday, usual boring stuff, gave the car a good run though! 115 miles of motorway in a car with only four gears and wobbly wing mirrors wasn't as bad as I thought - for a 30 year old engine, it didn't seem to mind sitting at 4,500 RPM for over 2 hours!
Put my (other) car through its MOT yesterday - it failed! <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> More on that in the 'ruddy cars' thread...
Got my file server up and running, all files in place.
Reformatted my main system and reloaded, as well as installing my new graphics card (and managed to lose about 130,000 whatpulse clicks in the process
)
And, erm, other stuff. Ate dinner, drank beer, went to the loo, all the usual stuff!

I seriously need to sort out my file-server... I just still can't decide what to build exactly. I don't want to buy any new parts - I've got lots of stuff already. Thing is, I gotta choose between:
K6-2-450 - quiet, low-power, but not quick enough to run Skype or Bittorrent!
XP-1800 - Noisy, Hot, uses too much electric... but does everything I need :-/
I don't think there is really a choice lol... I just wish I could make it quieter and cooler, but I can't get a decent heatsink to fit the MoBo or the Case !!! Its a Skt-A Asus board in a slim-line desktop... It also needs a new more powerful PSU but I can't fit one in the box!!!
So... I gotta swap around MoBo / PSU / GFX etc... I think my K6 is due for retirement; damn fine machine in its day - it lasted me years! Hey... I'm still using it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Well... Before I do any of that...
