why not? I do that all the time!
on a related note, though, if you drink a litre (or more) of apple juice in one go, just make sure you don't go too far from a toilet!

I have a cupboard full of apple and orange juice!
It's true for me though - Orange is so sweet, if I drink a litre it gives me stomach ache, then I get the sh*ts real bad... Explosive, gassy, jet - propelled toilet spattering fun!
I can drink plenty apple juice, though maybe not quite a whole litre... it's not quite so sweet.
Used to drink Orange & Lemonade by the Pint at college - it was cheap and they didn't serve Beer at lunch time! I found out then that I couldn't handle more than 3 pints... to strong for me
