OK.. so... you haven't eaten for days because the thought of pretty much anything makes you ill...

QUESTION: what's the first thing you eat?

Well... I had some Crinkly Oven Chips in the freezer, and I know they're good - so I stuck some in the oven, set it for 20 minutes & sat down to wait

Actually... I thought... that's not very healthy... I need some Veg... unlike my slightly southernly inclined parents, I am a huge fan of Mushy Peas! So...

Mistake Number 1:

I opened a tin of mushy peas & stuck a spoon in. Man they look like puke

Mistake Number 2:

Turned the oven on for 20 minutes... at ZERO ... shoulda been 200

Same here!

My usual cooking routine goes something like:

take item out of fridge.

remove packaging.

put in oven.

remove from oven when burning smell becomes apparent.

scoop out onto plate (also known as 'serving').

eat.

Eat your heart out, Ramsey!

That said, I can cook reasonably well when I want to - I can cook the best lasagne I know, and I also have a lovely recipe for Goulash!

Hmm....maybe this weekend....

Oh, I enjoy it when I get round to it - just not all the time!

it's seriously not worth the bother when you're only cooking for yourself, so I usually stick with the 'crap in a packet' cuisine. But that's still a seriuos improvement over when I was doing my old job(s) and working about 100 hours a week - my staple diet consisted of tins of tuna and supernoodles!

But I think this weekend, I'm going to do myself a goulash - if I do loads, I can freeze it and have myself some good meals for the next couple of weeks!

Yeah, cook loads and freeze it... in a few weeks you get "Freezer Suprise" - just be sure it goes with rice, you can cook the rice wijl you defrost the "Mystery Package"

But - Super-noodles are fantastic!!!!

Seriously.... in Japan it's called "Ramen"

put noodles in pan with boiling water.

Add some choped up spring-onion (Negi)

2 minutes later - put some prawns on top - they're cheaper than you think!

et... voila! add a squirt of Soy Sauce and chilli, you got yourself the perfect Manga-Style Slurpy-Delight :D
