That does look pretty cool - bet it doesn't work too well though!
If you want to kill flies, though (and who doesn't?
), I reckon the coolest thing has to be carniverous plants, like venus fly traps etc.
And the best thing is, they're not even at odds with your beliefs - it's simply nature at work!

Venus Flytrap - Excellent idea!
I'll get a Triffid to keep larger unwanted visitors away too
I did think about getting the UV bug Zapper thing... I like the smell of burning insects and they're quite cheap. Especially good for Mosquito which I do get.
Maybe if I get one which can recognise the "Meeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound of a Mozzy, and then fires an electrical discharge directly at it - like the Lightning Gun in Doom. That would be fun!
