Es are good!

Post by JJW009 »

I found my e-string!

I said E; not G... although we did spend about an hour going through a certain big kittens undies draw just now

Any ways....

Should I:

1. Fit the E string to my guitar which has only had 5 strings since I think I over-twanged the top-E some time before Xmas...

2. Wait until KW comes round; 'cause he's so much better at that kind of thing!

3. Owwww - MY EYE!!! DARN ooooh OOOHHH owowowowo.... these things are SHARP!!

4. Play my guitar, thus awakening the Koneko... who will immediately go shopping and spend all my money

lol... I should have made this a poll... but hey; choose your own answers - mine are only what came into my tiny little mind after much work and little sleep and a large (don't tell Koneko) Pina Colada :P

PS Google spell check is solid fuel burner! try checking Pina Colada and PinaColada... say "catch 22" anyone?!

Hmmm..... I think you should take the lazy route and only play tunes that don't have an 'e' in them. This might limit your repertoire a bit, but dedicated laziness does not come without some sacrifices.

Or maybe you should go the innovative route and instead of fitting a new 'e' string, you should fabricate and fit your own string out of tied-together strands of spaghetti. This will allow you to (very gently) play the little-known key of 's'.

OR you could take your e-string and use it as a garrotte. This weapon would allow you to take on a few assassination contracts, thereby earning yourself enough money to be able to afford to have a professional guitar-string-fitter-type-bloke to come and fit the string for you. You might want to wash the blood off first.

All excellent options, I'm sure you'll agree, but the final option, of course, rests with you.
