This has been on CPCFF for a while and quite frankly I'm disgusted nobody has yet posted it here.

There are plenty more fish in the sea, get your tackle out and see what bites.

Don't go for the gold, it achieves nothing other than wasting time.

All of your assumptions have been based around it being a baby. As a result your following statements were unfounded.
Seeds?! Where in Hades did you get that appalling piece of 'advice' from?! You'll kill it!

Small birds can be divided roughly into seed and insect-eaters.

And I wouldn't recommend bacon rind either - it's pure fat and very little else.

As long as you can be sure the bacon is not salty it can be put on the bird table. Since bacon can be too tough for many birds to tackle, chopping it finely will allow a wider variety of birds to benefit.

Unlike humans, birds need high levels of saturated fat, such as raw suet and lard.
Although mealworms would be ideal, which do you think would be more common in a household, mealworms or bacon?

If you are so fond of quoting the RSPB website then pehaps you should read it properly because in another thread you wrote.
I've an extremely short fuse when it comes to people who don't read things properly.
And that was directed at people trying to help you.
