If it makes you feel any better, my internet access is:

A: work (not fun, most of the good stuff is filtered, and moves at the speed of an arthritic tortoise)

B: my landlords' AOL account, which I can currently only use when he's not on it. I'm trying to persuade him to let me install a wifi router - I think I'm slowly winning him over, but for the time being, I generally have to wait till about midnight before I can get on the net.

you could maybe just sneek a USB wifi adaptor onto the back of his PC or something like that, and turn on ICS? You can get one for not much more than ?10 and he probably wouldn't notice... would he..?

When it comes to IT, he definately falls into the 'noob' camp - let's face it, he's an AOL luser, for gods' sake! <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='rolleyes.gif' />

The problem would be getting to his computer without him seeing - the guy works from home, andnever goes anywhere!

Been offline for another whole day:

EzeeDSL Broadband customers may be experencing connectivity problems today (24/9/06) Telehouse North in London the terminating location for EzeeDSL customers, Telehouse have experienced a power outage which is affecting EzeeDSL Broadband customers, Engineers are currently working to resolve the problem with EzeeDSL Broadband connectivity.

I'm not sure I believe it... I mean, FFS!!!!!!

Hmm... My baka internet was off all morning, and is only half working now: I can't upload anything!!! No pictures to photobucket, no email attachments, nothing!

The above is from the service page, which says everything is OK... but it's curious to note that EzeeDSL, Friaco and Bulldog are all listed on the same provider page... along with Tiscali?

I thought Tiscali provided their own services... but it looks like the picture is even more complicated than I thought <img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/blink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='blink.gif' />

Also, a note on the Ezee homepage says that "Biscit" and "Fast24" are now run by them... will there be nobody left soon!?

I went Tiscali but they will "restrict" you from 6.00-11.00pm which can be a right pain in the ass but the rest of the time its good.
