We've just seen Happy Feet.

Someone said there were references to being born different / gay... I didn't see that. There were a lot of religious digs though, with the Penguin Church looking like a bunch of fools. I can imagine a lot of Middle America not being very happy.

There is a glaringly strong ecological message, but I havn't done any research so I don't know if it is documentary or wishful thinking.

My verdict? Not a patch on something like Toy Story, but there were enough laughs to get me through the 2 hours and enough sentimentality to have me *almost* in tears by the end of it...

So - have you seen anything in the last few weeks, and was it worth it?

The new Bond is good (but I bet everyone else has seen it now)! Not much for gizmo fans tho (you can't count all the Sony kit being flashed about).

If there's anything else worth seeing I'd love to know ..

Little Miss Sunshine;

Bloody brilliant film. Just a family of misfits all piled into a van to drive across the country in their little yellow van. Character development is good, stories is great, ending is excellent. All round

Verdict ; 5 Ninjas <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Last King Of Scotland;

another film for the ages showing the rule of Idi Amin and the events that follow while following the good doctor Nicholas Garrigan. It shows Idi rise and fall and twisting of his mind as he rules over the country.

Another 5 ninjas ; <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo-->
