(Cairo taxis are generally old Peugeot 504s, Renault 12s and Fiats, held together with bits of string and tape, and they all drive like loonies. The best part is when you have to cross a road like that as a pedestrian - nobody gives way to you. Even at pedestrian crossings! I'm moving out finally - yay!





I've got BT to change the phone line over to the new place first thing in the morning, so it should be done by the time I get into there - unfortunately, they say it'll take a week or so to switch over the BB, so I'll be relying on work for access until then!





I don't know what time they'll be changing the line over, so don't be surprised if I suddenly get cut of-

I got quite concerned when I got up the next morning and BT had already disconnected the phone. I was even more worried when I got to the new place and the phone was already working.



A major company doing exactly what I asked them to, when I asked for it? Surely that's not right! <!--emo&:o--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo-->

But then they made a right fluffy kitten of my internet connection (pretty much the whole point of me having a phone line in the first place), then had me mucking about calling India for two hours, so all was right with the world again. <!--emo&:lol:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /><!--endemo-->
