I've still got a few quid to spare. Yay! Seriously, the single life is sooo much cheaper! So I'm thinking of finally upgrading from the XP 1800 palomino I use all the time. I need a fun project, so I reckon the Barton 2500 is still good enough for the media centre, this machine can become the bedroom machine, I can finally retire the old K6-2 I'm so very fond of and get myself a Core Duo. Only thing is; I've just upgraded my AGP gfx and I'll be wanting a PCIe which kinda stretches the ?200 budget I had in mind for the whole project... maybe I'll just get that Dell 22" monitor I keep drooling over! Friday night is Pub night, and I've got two huge bags of luxury crisps which I forgot to open at the party. Sweet Chili Sensations. They're very fine crisps. I also have some very decent Scotch to consume, thanks to old Redeyes and KW. Saturday is Curry day. This weekend it will be curry. Seriously. I have all the ingredients I got for the party curry. That reminds me, I think I should put the meat in the freezer before it comes back to life...
I get to chop up my old bed with a saw, big hammer, crow-bar and other assorted tools. Destruction is good!
