Age

I've just been down the pub tonight with a friend of mine - it's her birthday next week. She's getting depressed about turning 24! <!--emo&:o--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' /><!--endemo--> She seems to think that's old.
Now, I'm 32, and I don't feel old at all. I put that down to that fact that I'm not married (anymore), I don't have kids, or any of that stuff. Really, I feel as 'old' as I did in my early twenties.
Bearing in mind most of us here are about the same age range, what are your opinions? Is age down to a number? Or is it down to the way you live your life?
Personally, I'll keep up this lifestyle until it's not fun anymore - be that next year, or when I'm 70. I'll keep having fun and doing what I feel like, for as long as I feel like it. I've never really subscribed to that whole marriage, mortgage, kids by your thirties stuff, and I feel a lot better for it.
