All this talk of zombies recently and I had to 'turn' my avatar.

Nice crowbar btw. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

There are plenty more fish in the sea, get your tackle out and see what bites.

I'd have thought a chainsaw was more your style, Adam.......

Liking the avatar, Matt - kinda reminds me of looking in the mirror when I get up in the mornings... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The eye of god avatar wasn't really fitting in around here, where as the zombie will, I think.

I'll move the eye of god over to Mark's site where it too should also work out.

Skipping around all these forums leaves one somewhat confused.

Yeah, that's why I use the same avatar for everything - it's useful in case I forget who I am!

I was thinking about changing it, but I'm really not sure if I can be bothered!

I don't know enough about anime to relate to and pick a decent avatar.

Adam and I will have to counter the fluffiness of the anime with the horror.

I'm sure there is horror anime, see above sentence. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

redeyes, perhaps you could make an animated .gif from your current avatar, but make it blink or change eye colour or something.

yeah, I thought about doing that, but there's two problems with that:

1. That seems like a lot of work.

2. I'm lazy. <!--emo&^_^--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->

So it might happen, but don't hold your breath......

You always need some good melee weapons, you never know when the ammo or fuel will run out. The trouble is deciding between something with good blunt force trauma, such as a crowbar, or something much sharper like a sword.

you should go for something like a halberd - basically a big hitting stick with a little sword thingy on the end - you can have the best of both worlds then!

And you can also go all ninja stylee ( <!--emo&:ph43r:--><img src='http://i2.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/ninja.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ninja.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) with it, swinging it around to keep a whole group of them at bay.

But ultimately, it's down to personal choice.

Although my personal choice would be:

1. Katana - fast, sharp and manoevrable.

2. Lump Hammer - nice and small, you can hook it on your belt. Very handy for emergencies, and also for 'close quarter' work, where you don't have enough room for the katana.

You can't be complacent, we have to discuss the best weapons and techniques as you never know when they will be required.
