ok this is mainly for JJ, dude you know a while ago you said Saikano : she the ultimate weapon was a good anime one of the 1st you watched i belive. well there an OVE for it. basical a little bit of history from before the series.

ep 1, was just....wow. i mean its really well done. you can see the animation is alot better but still retains its series looks. the cgi were used adds to the action very nicely. i mean the storie as well is still very moving and you really feel for chise (or however it spelt) and the protoype version of her.



again really well done. brilliance.

ova 2 was also brillaint and nicly ties in with the series but i just now found this:

why the rayburn are they going to do a live action version. what the hell is wrong with people you can;t take a storie this deep and moving and compress it down into the 2-3 hour long movie it dosen't work. i can;t belive their going to do this. its horrible.

also going to nit pic as its late and i seriosly have nothing better to do. she dose not call herself "Death" she calls herself a shinigami or death god. ok a little like Death (aka grim reaper) but a Shinigami translates more as death god.

I just played it back and you're right - she definately says Shinigami. I was going by the sub titles; bah. I do know what Shinigami are from watching Fullmoon <!--emo&^_^--><img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' /><!--endemo-->



The writing isn't meant to fit btw, it's meant to contrast. The screen shot is from just before she (nearly) says those words.
