I think my antipodean status was quite an important factor, as such I was recommended without being on the poll. It is normally quiet on the CPC boards but there has been an incident recently that became even more inflamed overnight. Although the mods were contacted it was late evening and the current ones can't always be there.

It was probably that incident that is entirely responsible for the new positions becoming available.

I voted for Rob as well.

First day on the job and I had to lock a thread in the CustomPC forum. It was duplicated for no good reason other than to get some attention. So not only do I go out of my way to answer the thread's query, I'm also polite about it.

All the forum Mods I've met through Dennis have obviously set a good example. Infinitely better than others.
