GMA950 in the Intel on board graphics, and it's not too bad. It also has a 16x PCIe slot should I feel the need to upgrade. It's never going to play the latest games, but Quake is all I ever play anyway!JJW009 wrote:Foxconn 945G7MD-8EKRS2H ?31.30
This little beauty has GMA950 just like a mini
I've done some bench marks, and its performance in OpenGL which Quake uses is only a little less than my ATi 9200. I suspect the DirectX performance is better, but I've yet to bench. I've also yet to bench my nVidea 6200 but I imagine it will be similar. My very old 9800pro is probably much faster, but it has a noisy cooling fan on and I never got it to run stable. Of course, being AGP none of these cards will fit the new machine anyway.
Generally I'm very happy. I think my next upgrade is likely to be a large new monitor rather than anything to boost performance, which feels quite slick.
