Well, I've just been through the week from hell..... <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

An auditor with me in the office all week, probing every detail of our operation, asking dumb questions and increasing my workload...

One of the other guys at work going off sick all week (funny that....), meaning I've had to do all his work as well as my own

Having to spend time training some numpty of a temp worker, who quit this afternoon anyway

Being dragged to some dull as anything works christmas party last night

having to spend ?250 on my car for it's MOT

My other car getting a puncture last night

But nuts to all that! It's Friday night, I've got no work until Monday, and I've invited my good old friend Captain Morgan over for some fun!

Well, my week at work was actually ok

I'm using up my odd holidays, so I had a 4 day week... and I have Monday off too - yippee!

I had the email from hell yesterday though... well, my ex-girlfriend anyway!

Ahhrgg... it was bad enough when she dumped me, but now she tells me she is going on a date with a man... I want to rip his arms an legs off & bring her home to my cave!

I just emailed her back something to that effect... probably not a good idea, but who knows. Maybe a Mills'n'Boon style email will convince her of her error & she'll come running back to me!

Unlikely though... she'll probably just think I'm pathetic <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

Well, last night I partied with the famous Old Mr Grouse... and tonight I will be doing the same.

Not sure about Sunday though, I suspect I'll be meeting Mr. Hang-over for a cup of tea

well, after drinking half of the captain last night (was a 1 litre bottle!), I was fully expecting a visit from Mr. Hangover this morning, but he never showed up. <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/cool.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='cool.gif' />

Was kind of interesting though, I spent about an hour on MSN with Grant (GE007), and lost the ability to type properly!

Mind you... my last post on his forum was me being pissed off that I couldn't run 3Dmark05 because my GFX card was too crap - so I guess I can't complain <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/huh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='huh.gif' />

... for anyone who doesn't know (errr, that would pretty much be m1mm3 I guess!) Grant's forum is CPCFF as linked in the Website section on the main page!

Any reply to your email yet? has she come running back after your powerful display of machismo?

I was just getting started on the second half tonight, but then I remembered what large quantities of rum can do to me....or maybe it was the apple juice I drunk this morning to rehydrate myself!

Not gonna stop me though....

No answer yet - I don't think she's coming home this weekend, and I dunno when she will check her email. Maybe I should just go there and sit outside her flat like a desperate stalker..?

I'd post a photo of her but she'd never forgive me! Oh boy... she's my perfect idea of Woman, against which any future girl will be measured <img src='http://i6.ifrm.com/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' />

Now... I'm expecting a kinda Wobbly dinner guest. If my stomach wasn't sick to the, well, stomach, with green envy then I'd have made some dinner already...

Luckily my Famous guest has tranquillised most urges (except the one to browse for porn...) so I should be OK for a while !!!

I tried to make one from dead babys and plumbing parts... but it didn't smell good

And yes, you did write that - I was there, and I remember. I don't remember replying though!

On a related note, I've just checked through my IRC logs, and have pages of stuff on there that I don't remember typing. On the other hand, I've got a new MSN contact out of it! Hmm... Canada is a bit far! I thought Holland was of a bit of a trek!

As it happens, my contacts list has 1 English, 2 Dutch and 1 Canadian on. They're all people I've chatted with about Anim? stuff except for the English one - that's more whisky related!

I've got another login I use sometimes which has more people on, but I hardly ever sign on with it, some of them are just too annoying!
